James 5:16 (NLT) The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
(NIV) The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Step #1: Decide what you want from God
Habakkuk 2:2 Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.
Step #2: Locate the scriptures that promise you what you want
2 Peter 1:4 (NKJV) By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises.
Step #3: Get those scriptures firmly fixed in your heart
Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.
Step #4: Ask God for what you want and believe you receive when you pray
Mark 11:24 (NKJV) Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Step #5: Refuse to allow doubts and fear to enter your consciousness
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Step #6: See yourself succeed
Joshua 1:8 For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Step #7: Give God continual praise and thanksgiving
Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Step #8: Make every prayer a statement of faith instead of unbelief
2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken.
Step #9: Testify to what you believe
Psalm 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
Step #10: Get on the giving end
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
